Dawn’s Delight

I can see the sunrise in your eyes You float my heart like red kite Kiss of red sparks in blue sky Bliss of the dark romantic night I feel your warmth and good cheer You make me drunk like too much beer I find your tongue like chocolate fondue To nibble on with ebony ear or two I made you whole when you were in pieces But did not know until you softly speak this Turquoise pillow talk sweet as candy by Reese’s Fairytales of gold have less magic believe this Tender teal words so white and windy Like a brown bird keep flying me Painting me present for mahogany deed Baptizing lavender love graced with angel wing I can fly high for you are my sky And I am your love bird with brown eyes I sing a song for you alone at night Wake to sing alone to dawns delight

You are certainly the romantic one, Karen... The imagery is so smooth and seamless in this poem. Huzzah! ~ Gershon
