Notes About The Poem

I was inspired to write this as I witnessed the miracle of sunrise!  I chose to write in Tanaga form,(although it is not offered in the selection option) capturing  the beauty of the fleeting moment, when dawn turns into day.

Dawning Light

Smokey streaks of dawning light,
                               Whisking lonesome clouds in flight,
                               Heralding the suns all might,
                               Day emerges with delight!
