Dawn of a New Soul
As I rose from the death of my soul,
By the ego and what my mind couldn't tell
I met a new world that's pure delight
A world beyond my thoughts can reach
A flower not what I saw before,
The very one I saw past and for
I met a soul with a story to tell
And like mine it had a to be heard
A rock I sat not on aware,
Of its soul or heart
A tale it told as I looked
One like mine to be known for its truth
I saw a world anew
A bird that flew,
Not in my presence but beyond
It flew I knew,
But how I never knew
And like me it told a tale
Of navigation and purpose
To spread right my art
And a new soul rose
Mine it was,
Different but mine
