Dawn Hunts Shadows

Dawn hunts shadows with shafts of light
Golden swords pierce raven night
Long shadows flee from the meadows
With shafts of light dawn hunts shadows.

Hints of amber glows through each tree
From the meadows long shadows flee
Dawn repels dark things as grace flows
Through each tree hints of amber glows.

Through still airs a morning chime rings
As grace flows dawn repels dark things
Sunless sky speaks silent prayers
A morning chime rings through still airs.

In semidarkness dawn’s light peaks
Silent prayers sunless sky speaks
Gold light chases after darkness
Dawn’s light peaks in semidarkness.
