Dawn Chorus

Dawn Chorus In the shifting colours of the spreading dawn A solitary song from the woodland trees Then a chorus of voices that rising morn Carried on the impulse of the early breeze. A thousand melodies over wind blown grass, The chorus drifts over plain and mountain pass, Filling silent valleys with the song’s refrain, Until lost in the waking day’s loud domain. Such a creative poem Barry, almost like I had a painting in my hands and you were describing the sounds and melodies carried in the breeze in the rising morn, 'Until lost in the waking day's loud domain'. I know i have already commented, but i prefer this comment. blessings, hugs, Jennifer.
