Dawn
A splendid light
This radiant dawn
That slips through blinds
Tightly drawn
To alight with a whisper
A greeting so sweet
Upon my eyelids
Still flushed with sleep.
Oh stay with me
Wondrous moment, dawn of hope
That I might in these
Feelings float
And upon this timeless promise
Dream awhile...
