DAVID and Goliath 
Sling shot, small man,
Trust me it is all in God’s hand
Think of me as the underdog who sang up the hill-
“I think I can, I think I can!”
The little Israelites that could
Giants if you are reading this poem 
You have nothing on this young shepherd boy 
Knocking down the hulking bully
David W, are you here listening?
All David's win with bravery holding on to faith in God.
I’m a king you’re a King.

Go David! I love that story. Did you catch the Bible series on the History channel? It was good. Also, thank you for the place in your contest. I enjoyed it!

Okay, we're going to give this a go! I added one more space, its no longer "locked" but open, yet the contest is judged (?) I've got no idea what is going to happen if you try to resubmit but go for it! If that doesn't work. I will try to reopen the contest and take it off the winners page but I have no idea what kind of chaos will ensue next! Please, give it a go! Didn't stick? Man, never heard of this before! And I've been here for a year and a half now. Please, if you're there, do this asap

k, I triple checked. I went to my all poems on the contest admin page and searched again, then I counted the entries to make sure. All 35 are there. Now, something weird happened this morning. I had 35, then someone pulled their entry. then a last entry got in. The only other thing I can think is that I had started to lock my contest but it wasn't closed yet--everyone sees a N/A until it is officially locked and loaded (on the winners page) Did you remove the poem? Mystery solved :) LET ME KNOW!

Sandy, I'm confused... I do not see this on my page. Can you please double check your contests entered link on your member's page before I contact Soup admin??? This is weird. I will look yet again. This has happened to me that I did not actually enter the contest, but you say you see a N/A?? What the...??? I'll be right back after I check again.

I love this poem on the shepherd boy who conquered a giant. David has been a great inspiration to me as a young girl. I am writing my own poem on this handsome young man who was the father of the wisest king in Israel. Thanks for my placement in your contest. Love 'Dupe

Super wow my libramate, SandyIvy for this marvelous dedication poem and a song for me! David in the bible was really my favourite story when I was young. You're so creative in your words associating David W with small David who's Great of His Bravery! Indeed, they're (2 Davids) are both great! Very inspiring and spirit uplifting poem, too!
