Dates With Kate
Our favorite date is staying up late,
Dancing wild and staying straight.
We shout for joy and contemplate,
The providence given in mercy’s grace.
I spin you in, my heart and feet,
Share the fun, and quicken in beat,
Our song plays loud, we are complete.
We hardly see the crowd, I hit repeat.
I love the way we hop and dance,
Twirling around in our romance.
Lifting up with just one glance,
Never needing a second chance.
You harmonize with my emotions,
In slow and vivid, wave-like motions.
We transport among all these oceans,
With high ideals and loving devotions.
Great blessings in our home,
For sweet service you have shown.
All my cares in love are known,
As in harmony we have grown.
We share a love most dear to us,
Built on the foundation of words of trust,
For we share our souls in deepest love,
Creating and sanctifying with powers above.
Our excitement grows up all year round,
Unto perfect stalks of greatest renown,
Now slicing in reapers, we have found,
Years with beautiful children, and romance bound.
