Dashes

The years between the dashes have not always made me proud It's hard to find happiness when you're living in a cloud. I searched for years for happiness, everywhere it seemed Yet I found I can not find it in someone else's dreams. It's hard to find yourself When you are running from your past You have to learn to live with you even when you have doubts Though I am not perfect I still believe everyone deserves to be who they are meant to be

Nicely penned with a message many can relate to, myself included, Cassandra. The saying,'forgive and forget' is half right I think. Forgive, definitely, but forget not and dwell not, but salvage the lessons learned hoping not to repeat them. Welcome to Poetry Soup! All the best. :) ~ Artsie

Oh you have written this poereally beautifully and I really enjoyed reading it, you see good bad time comes in everybody life, life is in fact series of happy and bad moments but we shouldn't let our past destory our future as somebody told me that your past may be ded but future can be bright and nobody in this world is perfect, everybody has stength and weaknesses just have faith in yourself and try your best to achieve what you want to, that s the way to success, good luck and welcome to ps
