For the contest by: Russell Sivey Titled: In the Dark.

Written for those who suffer with this debilitating disease, depresssion. 

I live with family memers who suffer and so I try to understand and help. This is dedicated to them.

Darkness of the Mind

Un-illuminated is his life
Even the night is starless
Concealed in pathways of his mind
Darkness creeps between sense and sanity

Consequence of this mental distress
Reaching and pulling the dearest who reside
Downward current to an explosive land mine
Will the absence of glorious light return to his chamber
