Darkness and Greatness
Before darkness, there is greatness
Before greatness, there is darkness
Our purpose of life is all about doing what is right
Until, inside... the irony of life will lead us into what is wrong
Within darkness, there is greatness
Within greatness, there is darkness
Our intentions upon being honorable and benevolent
However, inside... there will be our lies and tragedies
Beyond darkness, there is greatness
Beyond greatness, there is darkness
Our actions can truly show the light of hope
But, inside... it can guide us towards the shadows of despair
Whether one is standing between darkness and greatness
Whether one is choosing between greatness and darkness
When there's darkness, it's like being at the edge of being dead
When there's greatness, it's like being at the edge of being alive
