With wounds from seasons
 that have railed on ,
Candle of yearning burns to ignite flame;
That once warmed those bitter gusty nights
A reality kneading deep into the bones
While clouds of reddish smoke
 flit into the night,
To shine a thousand reveries
mocking me,I pluck stars.

It surely reads like a dark theme--you have described the rubble, debris, and stray dogs well-- to paint a dark picture--well done as always, nette!
