Darkness

Darkness is the blanket
that shields the world
From light,
And love resides beneath her cover.
The moon rules those who play
Within the capture
Of this shadow,
Naming Dusk and Dawn
The offspring of the mating
Tween the two.
Daylight is the space
That waits beyond.

ray, this seemed an appropriate one today to view way in the back and leave a comment on, owing to the "darkness"I see in a few blogs today. thought it was against the rules here to name call or spew hatred but the staff is allowing it and not taking down the blogs of one person specifically. I don't understand the double standard here. I am seeing it in so many little things. I want to thank you for taking the time to respond to MY blog. You are sweet! Wish you would post more poems.
