Darkness-Filled Agony
"Agonizing in great darkness' torment*
We’re bound to everlasting punishment
Haunting you with guilty predicament:
Friend, did you warn us of hell’s detriment???
You’re nice in talking about love and care
Yet Christ’s Gospel of faith you failed to share
We forgive you; so now, midst hopeful dare
Proclaim good news; in heaven --- don’t shed tear."
What a torturous scene of despair blow
instilling soul’s fright marked by vivid show…
oh, where should I flee from convicting glow
seeing buddies in pain against peace-flow?
Awakened, gripped with spooky feeling blight
having dreamt of dear chums along grief plight
I seek pardon from God Who grants grace-might
to show salvation way by His truth's light.
Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
