Darkest Days

"It's normal" whispering to myself, the best encouragement. Innocence takes me to imagination A gleam in my eye, full of hope Constantly offering a sweet taste of hello Nobody knows the story behind this flavor. Heartful prayers mold my whole spirit Suddenly broken by repeated violence A horrible dish was served on a wicked night Complete silence is the only weapon No one can understand the gloom. Years have changed my heart and soul Rain pours down covering the calmness, Can't breathe, drowning in grief Until a new weapon becomes an escape Nobody knows the story behind this emptiness. Terrible scene enlightens the cruel hearts Silence of midnight's entirely different Tears fall down their sorrowful faces No one can understand my utter darkness. "I'm sorry" is all I can say, a symbol of love and respect.
