Dark Train

“Dark Train”

minds
speaking
in lost tongues

shadows
standing
on the platform

lower vibration
passes
The Stations

dark train
waiting for
abandonation

“unrest is in the soul
we don’t move our bodies
anymore”…

“Darkseid”/Grimes ft Pan
https://youtu.be/U3oyTuik0Hg

"I can still function but I can’t take out
The broken part inside my brain.
If I turn my face up to the light, you can see
That my lips are covered
With the messy finger prints of ghosts
As they are trying to open my jaw wildly,
Because they think I can issue an amnesty for them.
But they turn out to be distracted and fascinated..."

"Someone take these dreams away
That point me to another day
A duel of personalities
That stretch all true realities"

"Tongues, then,
are a sign,
not for believers
but for unbelievers;
prophecy, however,
is not for unbelievers
but for believers"

Well said; for sure, nice to be spiritual, ethereal and all that -- but we are also solid substance, needing the exercise and beautiful expression bodies crave. Great write my friend!

DiMino, poets are minds that speak in tongues, are we not? As for The Stations…I continue my conversation with the 3. Interesting article in the above comment box. For I am beginning to think, many poets and writers, suffer chronically from depression; even those who write limericks and epic humorous tomes.

I commenced watching a Netflix mini-series last night, nothing to do with the poem I have written here. However, on reflection, odd that I came across it after writing the poem, as I mention The Stations. The writer of the mini-series, or the creator, has a fascinating way of blending the narrative of a well-known horror genre with religious undertones and spirituality...it covers a plethora of sociological political issues as well. Now that writer, I would love to have an indepth conversation with, a labyrinthine mine, the way his mind works and how he deals with his historical relationship with religion. Very cool. “Midnight Mass”, Netflix. (https://www.netflix.com/au/title/81083626)

I was attracted to the title, as my father, had a thing for taking my two younger sisters and myself to Midnight Mass, during his overtly religious period, shortly after my mother’s death, adhering to what he always referred to as the “Anglo-Catholic” faith, never just simple “Anglican”. Strangely enough, after resigning from the Royal Australian Airforce, he commenced training to become an Anglican priest, but threw it in … after obviously questioning, I do not think his faith, but the integrity of those teaching it...I digress, as I am want to do on occasions. Not all dreams are lustrous.

I must go visit your short stories. I remember them being high calibre. I am beginning to concentrate more on my longer narratives, which is where I originally began this journey. For I was never a poet, in my mind. I was a long rambling story stuck in a cave. But never a vampire. Emotional, or blood-sucking.
