Dark Stormy One

We are sitting in the car Driving along the waterfront Its cold and dark, Reflections of the city lights Waves crashing, But with you its magic. Listening to our favourite song Singing all the way home This moment of us the way you smile, The way you glisten Could this be love Could this be something. The laughter and fun that we share After so many hard years Fighting for nothing But to save this life Will break the chains from dark childhood games And he’l glisten all night And he’l listen through the fight Knowing the pain Dancing in the rain He’l pick up my shoe Even though its half past two And let me run wild Through the storm and the fire One day, He’l take my hand and ask Will you be mine. Speading love like fire All through the weather The spirit of weakness will conquer no more And the heart will grow stronger The pain will grow dimmer As you encourage me through this long winter The city lights shine so bright Reflections of skyscappers late at night You take me in, You take my hand Childish games consume us As we find excitement in eachother Will this be something Will you stay forever? Spreading love like fire All through the weather The spirit of weakness will conquer no more And the heart will grow stronger The pain will grow dimmer As you encourage me through this long winter 13/09/2011
