Dark Places
When the dark
Leaves its mark
Even in the pouring rain
You can see the spark
Corrupting your heart
You lose from the start
Tearing your world apart
In dark places
Hides a ghost of our past
Take me home
Where love will forever last
Save my soul
So i can take off my mask
Because in dark places
Hides the ghost of my past
The brightest light
Comes in the night
When true love takes flight
Everything feels right
And you are freed from the wrong
You finally find your way
After you've been lost for so long
Look in those eyes
Time stands still
And your heart, it flies
Flies away in clear blue skies
In dark places
Hides a ghost of our past
Take me home
Where love will forever last
Save my soul
So i can take off my mask
Because in dark places
Hides the ghost of my past
We fight
To bring the light
Into the night
End all the hate in sight
Defeat this urban blight
No one is ever alone in this fight
We must make sure
Make sure that love grows right
Because in dark places
Hides a ghost from our past
Take us home
Where love will forever last
Save our soul
So we can take off our mask
Because in dark places
Hides the ghosts from all our past
