Dark Lakes

A man from north sails in his prime
to get to Accra port on time,
Pirates appear on his way,
He has no treasure today,
Needs to turn around or sublime,

He came to a swamp full of snakes,
As the snakes were scared of bean cakes,
The pirates were so amaze,
They couldn't land at the place,
As it's surrounded by dark lakes .
