Dark In Type

Dark in type There was dark before there was light does it not prevail as part of who I am Most of us evade the dark and know only of dreams and rejuvenations. The dark is a part of me, it exist in corners, under disguises, and behind shields The dark has mysteries I must know, which beckon to me by invitation Does energy dissolve or dissipate, is death diminutive or infinitive. If life is possible then death must be inevitable, are we not creatures of free will I am confused and need clarification, may we not choose our time to live or die I merely search for answers; I defy ignorance and such as that my spirit it kills. Injustice and insatiable greed victimizes the unfortunate, unknowing and uncaring In segments of fours we participate in delusions of the importance of our choices Leashed and trained in obedience we strut to the music of the marching band Standing as one under the banner of the fallen fossil we raise our voices The eye of vision dims, illusion encompasses and the short sighted rule with ease Blameless assassinations, circumvented accusations deceive the do wells Life once known slowly fades away to desperation, can we go on? The dark is everywhere even in the light, so reject it not for it has its own spells.
