So much "fake" stuff wandering around. I have to admit I do not know any politicians in real life, and plan to keep it that way. But this was a fun read.

I know three politicians. Two are snotty, arrogant, insufferable. One is pleasant, but a spendthrift. About par for the course, I'd say!

It is so hard to write political poetry with our country so sadly divided. Either way you write it... you’ll be tarred and feathered, drawn and quartered. Yet poetry serves as a vehicle to express each version of the truth. Then who decides truth? Let’s hope our vote is untainted by foreign intervention so the people can decide.
