Dark But Safe

Darkness falls around me and sometimes you can feel the evil hordes
Sometimes they will hound you and sound like many strange chords.
During these times we need a Friend Who loves us and gives us cheer.
Although it is so dark and we're full of so many awful fears.
In the darkness it seems there are greater temptations that come.
And sure enough if we let down our guard we will more than likely have some.
Eyes watch us from the far corners of the darkness seeing all we do.
Our every move is recorded on some computer brain
and would scare us if it said "BOO!"
There are creatures that only come out during the dark hours.
Some even wait until it is dark and there are showers.
Our Friend Who is cheering us, no matter what the hour,
Will keep us and the creatures safe, and love us through His great power.
