Dark Angel

Samson stood between the pillars
His head bold he lost his strength
Betrayed by his love he begged God
For return of his hair and his strength

God granted his wish
But it turned out to be Samson’s final wish
Samson pushed the pillars down
And killed more enemies this way than ever before

Unfortunately there is more
He did even the score
But he died by his own hand doing so
Some gift

When I hear song by VNV Nation
Dark Angel
My heart is on fire
My soul is on fire

And my mind is filled with dark desire
But I feel Like Samson without his hair
Like a bird locked in a cage
And with my body my spirit is also wasting

I feel like a man who they tried to destroy
Only to deny him battle later on
I agree with part of that song
It goes something like this

“There is no fate in which to hide
Even truth is filled with lies”
But he also is an angry angel
Saying things like that

“I’m in this mood because I’m scorned
I’m in the mood for total war”
Well if this is the angel’s bidding
I’ will not disappoint him

The lilies are put on a grave
And you hope to dead you said farewell
But beware
The stem is beyond destiny

The flowers are defiant
Of very laws of universe
The dark hand that build them
Allowed them to write their own

I don’t know whether
God is with me
Or against me
In any case beware of a man that has very little left to loose

I may become what I hate
But I’m too different for that to be
I’ll create my own destiny
And destruction will come from their own hands if they persist
