Dark and Grey Night

When wise winds whispered
touched the tall tree tops,
branches opened like arms
to welcome the silent snow.
Night was all dark and grey,
	moon buried in loneliness,
	rugged roads remained restless,
	while wild winds whipped.
In the night's silence I slipped
into a dream where you amazed
me with a sensuous sweet song
and secretly soothed my soul.

Nice alliteration. Loved "moon buried in lonliness". Echoed the snow fall burying everything as well as the reflection of the moon off the snow and lighting the surroundings. In short, you have a lot of imagic density which is what poetry is supposed to be.

Thank you.....you added a new dimension of snowfall burying everything...I liked that.
