Dare I Do This, Well, Why Not

                   Preface
I can think of no poet in history
Who wrote of things in his house
as then dubbed it "poetry?"
I think the Bard, would roll on the
floor,
Howling madly...."no more, no more"
And, I~being poetically vain,
I went outside first to howl in the rain?
Muses forgive me for laughing loudly.
please, so here I go, on my knees,

     ~~~~The Brown Hutcb~~~~~
Regal in the corner she stands.
Contents of remembrances on her hands.
A ceramic Madonna in pink robe
Crystal cocktail glasses speckled in gold.
A dance card from my High School days.
Oh, muses!
Am feeling a case of poetic malaise.
My humor is getting the best of me..
Laughing at myself for doing this.-))
Better grab a hunk of amethyst!!
Aha, mark of a true poet's heart, modesty and giving greater credit to other poets. *Hold thee deep, passion's truest might * Let others poison arrows fling * Poetry's truth, its brightest light * Gifts its melody, loving truth sings.
"True royal is her bare baring *poetry gems adorn her hands *inner spirit she is sharing *as she takes poetic stands *Inked words are her sword and shield *her verses her deep stinging cuts *in poet's heart she never yields *tho' her poems may drive some nuts." I admire your great passion for your poetic principles. ..
How eloquent a response from you. Undeserved in my opinion...am just a beginner who feels unworthy of your graciousness. Panagiota
Ha, ha. I agree with you about the Bard, but then again, Dickens shook it up and changed everything in the 19th century with his stories of the poor and the downtrodden, celebrating common men and common things... You're in good company, Panagiota! Blessings, gw
Everything is just a poem waiting to happen as you so wonderfully showed. You said you were feeling 'dead', hope it's only temporary. Have a great day my friend and be strong.
You have a reservoir of talent latent within..I am amazed how fast you articulate so many poems. Muse is certainly happy and well, Panagiota.
I guess you are right. I don't think I am fast at all. Maybe I should let myself really rip-)). This is a test response. My replies to you keep erasing. This is the fourth time...oh, my. Panagiota
I rather enjoyed that commonplace item being made to look so regal!! Very nice work. Poetry can speak to ANYTHING!
Thank you , I do feel quite dead at the moment. But you made me laugh. That's an art! Just like the three letters of your first name, Arturo. Wow Pan is my first three~ as in "flash in the pan")) Thank you. More later. Miss Pan Malaise. Panagiota
