Dandelion

Dandelion By Elaine Roy They call me a weed I'm not pretty like any flower Just only in a child eyes;for they always want to find me Adults call me , a pain in the neck and tried to get rid of me For only children want me They see me and they make wishes on me I make children smile and keep their dreams alive I may not smell pretty, like a rose For I keep children hopes and dreams alive So, you see even a weed, like a dandelion, has a special purpose Never stop making wishes, you'll find I'm always here I'm just wait, for you!

Reminds me of the hit song by the Rolling Stones back in the sixties. Some people eat dandelion leaves in salads. Good write.
