Dancing To the Song of a Loon

Dappled light shimmered from a golden moon, and peered into a grove of bent willow trees. Arched branches swayed in a gentle breeze, as if shadow dancing to the song of a loon as she warbled the lyrics of her mating tune. July 15, 2022 Bite Size Poem No 49 Contest Sponsored by Line Gauthier

Jenna, your imagery is so artistically arranged, it is like reading a bucolic painting, if that makes any sense. Lovely rhymes along with lulling phrases... I liked "as if shadow dancing to the song of a loon" most. Very nice writing in this compact form ~ John
