Great Haiku, Tex, indeed green wood burns poorly, making ignition hard. Wood is moist, but life and motion persist. Fire feeds and comforts despite weak fuel and blazing rejection. This may reflect resilience, demonstrating the ability to retain warmth and a sense of connection despite difficulties.

I remember mistakenly using green wood when I was a Girl Scout on a campout. The sparks were both dangerous and beautiful! Lovely Senyru, Tex

I had a similar experience as a Cub Scout when I was 8 years old. Thanks for the comment, Rose Tex
