I think it is important for poets to support poets. This is so easy it is just a little time and I promise you will be glad you visited.

They line up like supermodels...just as thin... illuminate the tar carpet below them...stand in a motionless pose.  The fashion theme must be glitter fountains...they weep like a sun shower ...I try not to trip over the beams. You can hear this ones heart beating... see it beating...as it flickers...to the beat... James's Brown's "When A Man Loves A Woman"... ...I hope he's watching...all lit up...heavenly. It is at that moment one rapturous streetlight attempts to seduce me with her come hither look.  ...she is...she had me at lustrous, I lean against her wanting figure.  Adorned in phosphorescent jewelry... ...she holds me in her incandescent arms.  We dance a fandango in the scintillating grip of this titillating evening.  ...I won't be taking her home...but I'll always have the memory.

Dear Maurice, You create a striking image of the streetlight and the comparison to super-model thin, seductive women is enchanting. Even if she is not yours, those memories inspire some wonderful poetry! Best wishes in the contest. Love, Carolyn

OH wow, you really did a different take on the contest, street lights as models! How cool. Isn't it funny how people are coming to these poems and asking "what is the puzzle?" They say they can't figure it out. I wish they just would go to the contest page and see what it's all about!! It's not even a puzzle really. Your poem, for example, SHOWS us what NEtte wants displayed!! a highest rating! aS always.

I told you Andrea I had nothing for this one. I squeezed this one out in case it is one of those where everyone gets a placement. I have read some amazing poems on this theme. God bless their poetic little hearts.

Trying to find the puzzle made me lose the beauty of the writing. The puzzle I didn't find but I enjoyed this wonderful poetic expression! Good luck dear Maurice!

Her puzzle word is Tarndai. You just have to write about street lamps. Deciphering the word doesn't really change anything it is inherent in the theme.
