Dancin' On a Pole

She's dancin' on a pole again,
nowhere to go, and there's no end in sight.
She can't afford to care about the night,
she just keeps dancin' on a pole.

That's the life she lives for now,
there is no way to look...
for something better.
when it's all she has to show.

She's spinning round that pole again,
she up and down, and she can bend
the rules all in her way...
she's there to stay.

But it's over when she comes undone,
and over, when she's on the run,
she has no place, but runs her race...
in time.

Her answer is the smoke, you see,
it all goes up her nose, not free,
for her desire...
to light her fire.

She will pay a hefty price,
and lose herself from good advice.
She's on the street, someone to meet...
for her to change and re-arrange,
her life, in time.
