Dance, Oh My Home

DANCE, OH MY HOME
Dance, oh my home!
With heads bowed in prayers
Heart filled with love, open arms for all
Till the rising wave stills. 

Dance, oh my home! 
To laws and orders 
And cling to peace 
Till they are gored with pity

Dance, oh my home!
In one voice to win
With acceptance and unison of thoughts 
Till their plans are torn.

Dance, oh my home!
At the Heaven's gate with faith
Through patience, knock for help
Till your bleeding heart is healed.
 
Dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives during the ill-fated military drill tagged Operation Python Dance II in the southeastern region of Nigeria.
