Dance In the Rain

Remember that teardrops won't always bring pain
Sometimes the sun still shines brightly through the rain
While crying most wondrous tears of joy
Enticing the songs in the hearts of every girl and every boy
Lightly tugging on violin strings within hearts
Warming and inspiring even the coldest to blossom, a true graceful art
Life gets overwhelming and we all hit highs and lows
Sometimes amongst chaotic confusion we get lost and don't know which direction we should go
What we once knew has faded to gray amongst our tears of sorrow
No rainbow in sight for a happier tomorrow
You may feel like you're sitting on a ferris wheel stuck at the top
Flooding in are haunting memories spinning like a carousel that won't stop
Take your space and hide behind the clouds but don't you dare stay
Don't lose sight of hope that can come with a brand new day
Strike back fiercer than the lightning
Feel the fire within you brightening
Catch your breath and come back roaring louder than the thunder
Ride out one of many of life's currents don't get engulfed and stay under
Be the sun that shines through the rain awakening smiles long hidden deep within
Learning to dance in the rain is where nurturing growth and healing can begin

Lovely verse Melissa, that's true, learn to dance in the rain, never wait for the storm to pass. Tom
