Notes About The Poem

God in Motion: The Sacred Art of Liturgical Dance | our.ric.edu

DANCE FOR THE LORD VIRTUOUS-

Dance for the lord virtuous

She had shoes
But she didn’t need them
You see she worship the Lord in her bare feet
You see, every step by step
Was virtuous

She had rhythm yet didn’t needed it
Because she marched, danced in the spirit
Whose, whom are we to judge
You see, every step she made
Glorious

She had a voice so she sings
Like an angel, a bird beautifully sings
Has no personally song
Just sings Hallelujah, Glory to the King

God’s daughter just dance, dance, danced;
In the view of His heart, heart, heart;
Yahweh eyes views the moves
Of His empress daughter
Dances bare foot as she praises aloud her voice
Fervent renaissance
The dancing of her feet the singing of her voice
Unto the Father
Beloved and Beautiful Virtuous
