Dance Above the Stars

The laughter I see, is hidden so deep, a memory of yesterday, mine to keep. Those that know you, or think they do, can never hold dear, the days of me, and you. Saying goodbye, hurts me so bad, my eyes now misty, my heart is so sad. No one knows, when time is no more, eternity takes over, when we enter Heaven's door. Sing so joyous, dance above the stars, my heart will know peace, for I know where you are.

This saddens my heart and I feel your pain. Our days are all numbered as we journey through this life. Our prayers are with you and your family always. You are a treasured friend and I know God watches over us all, Ron

My brother is soon to be with his Father in Heaven. I was thinking back with this write of our childhood, and all our days of play. It hurts to watch him lie so still, and lifeless..... please pray for our family in these last days........I love you all, always, Christy

This sad poem conveys the feeling of loss very well, Christy. I'm sorry to hear of your brother's death, but as you say, he's dancing "above the stars." In fact, sometimes I think the stars are just holes in the seams of heaven through which our loved ones look down upon us, smiling to let us know they are happy. Beautiful work!

Christy, this one touches my heart. I have a love in Heaven and it is reassuring to know where he is and to hope that he is waiting for me there. This is wonderfully written. Your words capture the essence of love and devotion. Smiles from Lolita
