Dance

They danced as if they were the only ones at the outdoor concert.
They were challenging others to join them.
There were chuckles in the background as they "jived" up a storm.
But there were also cheers of "way to go" from other onlookers as they
watched in amazement as these seniors let loose and did their own thing.
It makes you wonder, what is so surprising about embracing life
as we get older rather than let it slip by.
Let's learn from the senior couple who frolicked in the park.
Jazz up your life.
Try a new dance.

that's a very uplifting poem. thank you . I have a condo mate who is 96 and still golfing, looks to me like early 80's. If we're going for the long haul, let's make the best of it.

Hello Virginia, I would cheer for the senior couple dancing up a storm. They are enjoying themselves. Hugs Darlene

When I was young my wife and I never missed a dance. Now she dances elsewhere. I dance alone. Maybe I'm losing my sanity :)

I too danced...but as we age life makes changes in our circumstances that we have no control over. But we can still dance in our minds, in our hearts and with our wonderful memories. Thankyou for responding.

“Frolicking in the park”. Nothing better for seniors!
