Damp with pain

#Damp_with_pain
These floors have drank much of my tears, see these salt spots corroding even the tar, how deep and fatal is my pain, see the blood lines tattooed in my eyes, they stem deep inside my heart.

Only if my heart had a mouth to speak, hearing ears would tear apart, for my pain is now corrosive, only if my body could reveal the severity it has endured, I would be declared medically crippled, only if everyone could see the maps painted on my pillow, from my every night before my sleep, this world would pause and comfort me

Been knocking but now I'm knockdown, been shouting but now I'm shutting down, been trying to stand up but now held down, been crying but now I'm dried out, been enduring but now I'm fed up

Fed up, from constant pain, from constant lies, from constant betrayals, Fed up from pretending to be okay , when deep inside being not okay. Fed up from trying, trying to be strong when my inner emotional walls slowly shutting down on me, fed up from trying to tape together my self, I'm daily shutting down, one street light after the other, sooner or later my whole life would be in darkness, shattered, crippled, if not dead

I'm being held down by pain, by shock and by exhaustion, held down by lies and betrayals, sooner or later, this burden will show and hope it been not late for my health, for my heart and my soul, hope I live for one more day to say; I was never okay and have never been okay but damp with pain

Don't be deceptive to my looks, to my shiny smiles, pain has normalised masquerading in me, and I am damp with pain
