Damn Solar Flares

Damn solar flares made me freak out
Swallowed my gum and made me choke
Up the proverbial creek without a paddle
Think I soiled my jockeys, no joke

Envisioned I was going to lose all my data
Doomsday was hanging over my head
My sweetie hid the crow bars and hammers
Feared I'd bash my head until dead

Turned out to be not quite that serious
Lost the Internet for just a couple of hours
Happened when I was having some fun
Curled up in the corner and cowered

But I'm okay now, thank you for asking
Though I'll probably never be quite the same
Now I back up every twenty-three seconds
Modern technology's a scary game

Such a funny poem! I know the feeling, that's for sure. Technology is ever growing, quite exciting! Can be overwhelming and scary for some. Always, Laura

Wonder where this is all leading... methinks perhaps a less passionate world! Hope I'm wrong! However, guys like us will still be around! Huggsies! xxx

The heat over whelms us before we cool down. Then we always end up feeling just like a clown. Twenty-three seconds and the world goes to hell. I'd like to be an auctioneer and sell, sell, sell. The interwaves of modern days can make your blood just boil. But better that than ending up 6 ft down in the soil. :) Have a day. :)
