I'm not gonna get my hopes up, it only leads to tears.
It's like I always feared, my God it feels like its been years,
since I've seen him, once my reason for being, now my reason for weeping.
I know not why she has kept him from me,
I just don't understand why this must be.
All I want is to be a part of his life, or,
at least see him once in awhile.
'Cuz if there's only one thing in this whole world that I know,
HE is the one person on Earth who will ALWAYS make me smile.
