Daddy, Jr., and Jasper
Soaking, and freezing,
he stands outside,
waiting for comfort,
in a bed warm, and dry.
Please daddy, please,
can we keep him, please,
he is all alone,
and he really needs me.
OK son,
bring him in for tonight,
but first thing tomorrow,
you must do what is right.
His owner will be looking,
he is someone's pup,
I know they are worried,
he's a cute little mutt.
No one came,
no one claimed,
this poor little dog,
now Jasper is his name.
