Cynthia

I love you in my secret heart I dance around the fires you start I tell myself she's playing too Looking for reasons to break the rules I see the beauty of a woman's face listen to your voice giving it grace While secretly pacing looking for a place Longing for favor without disgrace As you move in closer to my flame I wonder if your wondering our name When we're alone and it's just us two Sharing our feelings of being blue Promising secretly never to hurt you Wishing for the moment my dream come true Building a tower high enough to reach heaven Wondering if truth and kind words would sever Telling myself as I get closer Just a little while and it will be over

reading your response you gave me now on this one. That is sad you thought yourself too old. (if she was willing, I don't know, John, maybe you missed out on a really good thing)

I hate i lost her she was beautiful called every nite. I would have treated her like a queen. but all I saw was my heart being broken. Been there, done that. Hurts too much. but the regret I'll carry always.

it was. I regretted being too old for her. It hurts more and more because she was willing.
