Curse of the Single Bed
Should your wife turn and say, you should get single beds
Take heed, this could be the thin end of the wedge
Not wishing to be that old prophet of doom
You could find, in a while, you will have your own room
Then after some time, your belov-ed spouse
Will insist you move on and find your own house
She’ll stay in the family home that you bought
She can keep all your money, they tell you in court
You will end up a pauper, a vagrant or worse
If ever you’re hit with the single bed curse
