Curse

I curse you
You, who developed fear in me
You, who made me hate men
That man
Who touched me
When I was just a little girl
Trying to be strong.
That man
Whose evil eyes
Made me wear loose clothes.
That man
Whose touch
Made me so self conscious .
I wish
God gives you worst punishment
I wish
Your wife, your daughter
Never feel it.
Still years ago
I'm not able to forget.
I pray
Every rape victim dies
Don't let them live
To suffer forever.
I curse you
For making me cry.

Sorrowful and yet we must transcend, push the incident behind and move on, otherwise the wound cannot be healed. Forgive but do not forget would be my counsel, although I recognise it’s easier said than done.
