Current Affairs Explained

We spend so much time on current affairs
Even though we have no influence there
   So, why do we persist
   Here's why, if you insist
We've found an excuse to yell, curse and swear

Very clever and very funny Gershon! yet I'm not disregarding its serious connotations. It made me laugh out loud tonight. Great job, Thanks!!

Maybe you are right. Do you know that here in South Africa, they talk about American politics as much or more than their own politics. Last night we were invited to one our neighbours and Trump came up, and i said what an idiot, but our neighbour said, I would vote for him if I was in America, I think the wall he built, and keeping manufacture of American motor cars in America, to a certain extent, by hyping up taxes on imported cars were two points he was impressed him. Stay well Gershon, Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

I think that Trump was much more popular abroad than he was in America, much like Nixon. :) gw

Some don't need an excuse to curse and swear - They do it anytime and anywhere - It comes naturally - They get by passably - And bring a change to the hue of the air… Belle

It's also clogged with too many blogs... Now, if the world is a toilet bowl, that means I can 'go' wherever I want! Yippee. Thanks, Daniel
