This Limerick dear, Caren, represents a great sad truth for it celebrates the bringing up of cuckoo's offspring by foster parents whose little ones are evicted from their nest by the new comer !

I did not know she evicted the other eggs though; I thought she included hers. OUCH!

i enjoyed raising my own young, but i bet there are some out there that wish they could be like the cuckoo bird... enjoyed this little poetic lesson :) hugs

Remember the Maizy bird and the elephant who was faithful "one hundred percent?" I bet she was a cuckoo.
