Crystals Dance Inside My Dreams

The needle was my destiny
yet I choose to be free,
crystals dance inside my dreams
but I choose life
no more flames licking at a glass bowl,
no more chasing fantasies
my faith changed me;
to be a faithful wife
and loving mother,
no longer a lowly drug addict
laying on the bathroom floor,
with blood dripping from my arm
angels know my name
and Jesus sings me to sleep,
forever found
and lost to the game,
my friends don't recognize me
they're stuck in a haze
a cloud so thick
you can see it for days,
drugs made me steal
but love made me heal;
I'm finally living the dream.

"drugs made me steal" "but love made me heal" Those are powerful lines up there! It means a lot deeper. Good job, well done, Candice

That's powerful Candice. I know "inspirational" is cliche, but it is inspirational in the truest sense of the word. Pretty damn badass too! I'm glad you pulled through...
