Crystal Tears
Crystal tears a blue tribute
Trailing down face of fool
Who told you to trust love
Only dreams are of such stuff
Jilted woman or man who hoped
love from another person would grow
Perhaps ending in disappointment
Resilient or not needing anointed
Can one love despite being pained
By the loss of what was a hoped gain
Perhaps yes or maybe a neon no
Look inside find love for which you hoped
