Crystal Blue Waters

crystal blue waters twinkling away,
a thousand gems sparkle and sway,
fish jumping high with incredible joy,
a feeding frenzy and not being coy,
children skimming stones across
wanting to win and not be a loss,
rocks protruding from waters deep,
keeping boaters awake and not asleep,
picnic tables line up along river shore,
hungry people eating more and more,
evening sun reminds all the day is done,
crystal blue waters fade away ending fun
