Crying Tears
Unwilling grudge, tormented and judged
This purposeful trade of feeling
Souls we admire, unwanted desire
Ubiquitous burden with meaning
Wiped and forgotten are stories begotten
Erased like we are all the time
Factual concussion, glistening repercussions
Gorged hearts once dim now shine
Minds entwine sensations divine
Exempted functionality
Memories archived, reborn, alive
Splits fiction from reality
A heart that bleeds, minds that feed
Existence defined in the soul
Luxorious exposure, comforted disclosure
Emotions released when we roll
We long for that day when people will say
Perserverence won’t mean our demise
Emotions aside, when someone has cried
we can’t, but we pamper their eyes
