Crying

A tear may fall to the depths of your heart. It may tear you completely apart as your body racked with sobs convoluting, begs for soft comforting words, soothing mind spattered brain waves, again and again. Explosive neurons firing negative feedback to the nerve system wiring, inter-acting to each muscle contracting. The avalanche follows wetting the hollows of the eyes, and overflows. Everyone knows the embarrassment coming to stem the flow of tears, increasing our awareness in later years to not make the same mistake again for fear of bringing back the pain. © 13 Dec 2010 Charles Henderson For Paula's "Tear" contest

Very nicely done, Charles! From an emotional perspective I don't know why the tears flow uncontrollably at times, but you have explained the physical causes as well as the aftereffects of embarrassment so well. Wishing you success in Paula's contest, my friend, and hope you are enjoying the holiday season. It's in the 30s now in FL and will be in the 20s overnight! That's just not right. Stay warm, Love, Carolyn (Did you see the Miami Dolphin get tripped by the Jets staff member?)
