Crying
Sometimes, we cry about things that should be.
Sometimes, we cry about things that should not be.
Sometimes, we cry about things we thought would be.
Sometimes, we cry about things that we wish could be.
Sometimes, we cry about things we thought would never be in our lifetime.
When such things happen, if they are things of which we approve, we
become overwhelmed to the point of joyful tears. On the other hand,
if we find such things objectionable, we are filled with disappointment and sad tears. Occasionally, we cry, never fully understanding why.
These 'at the crossroads tears' of joy or sadness create a rendezvous with our emotions. But I tell you, cry! Let the showers fall! Open the flood gates, and let the rendezvous begin!
